Susan Szatmáry & Palais Galliera

Introducing Susan Szatmáry & Palais Galliera!

The fashion museum of Paris, Palais Galliera is a historical building which was given to the city of Paris as a gift from an Italian heiress called Maria Brignole Sale De Ferrari in the 1800’s and was drawn by the architecture Léon Ginain.

Susan Szatmáry teamed up with Paris famous Fashion Museum, le Palais Galliera, to release an exclusive range of small leather goods for its boutique. In its bookshop, Palais Galliera offers biographies of some of the World's biggest Fashion Designers along with very few covetable items hand picked by Museum's director, Miren Arzalluz.

Three models of card holders are in this collab collection: “Alma Marceau”, “Iéna” and “Galliera”, as well as a phone holder “Trocadéro”. They were all inspired by the architecture and sophisticated language of the Museum.

”When I was living in Paris, I used to visit Palais Galliera exhibitions very often, to do research. Launching our small leather goods in a collaboration with this Museum, each piece inspired by its geometrical main gate, the facade, its courtyard and oval staircase feels like the ultimate full circle accomplishment”

- Susan Szatmáry

Bicolour black and white small leather goods are sold exclusively in Palais Galliera bookshop.
